Subject	What's the general consensus on plugging tires vs. patching?

Message	Obviously patching is the better solution, but costs more and requires me to enlist the help of a tire shop monkey with a paint eating mounting machine. Plugs seem to hold fine. Just put one on the DD and curious what others thought of that solution. WARNING: I lack industry backing
